Asia-Pacific stocks rise on coronavirus hopes as Europe opens higher

Asia-Pacific (re)insurance stocks rallied on Monday as investors appeared buoyed by optimism that measures designed to contain the coronavirus pandemic were starting to bear fruit and that the global economy is showing signs of recovery on the wave of fiscal stimulus programmes.
