Cat losses threaten AM Best rating of Credit Suisse ILS vehicles

AM Best has affirmed the ‘A-’ financial strength rating and ‘a-’ long-term issuer credit rating for both Kelvin Re and Humboldt Re, Credit Suisse’s rated reinsurers, but “negative rating action is likely” if the entities’ underwriting results do not improve in the medium term.
