QBE falls to $712mn H1 net loss as estimated Covid claims near agg attachment

QBE fell to a net loss after tax of $712mn for the first half of 2020 that was driven by Covid-19 and Australian natural catastrophe activity, as its estimated exposure to the pandemic pushed it closer to the attachment point of its cat aggregate cover.
