Farmers’ ratings reviewed after MetLife P&C deal news

AM Best and S&P Global Ratings are reviewing Farmers’ ratings following the announcement it will acquire MetLife’s property casualty operations, with S&P noting it expects Farmers to increase quota share reinsurance to support underwriting leverage ratios.
