TWIA bid to increase rates rejected after filing oversight

The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association’s attempt to increase its commercial and residential rates by 5 percent has been rejected by the Texas Department of Insurance because the carrier failed to make the rate adequacy analysis supporting the rise publicly available for long enough.
