Palomar reveals $25mn agg XoL limit and estimates Q4 cat hit

Palomar has bolstered its reinsurance protections with $25mn of aggregate excess of loss (XoL) limit, while cat activity during the second half of 2020 led to it buying backup coverage and left the business with $15mn to $16.5mn of pre-tax losses from Q4 hurricanes.
