Autumn Statement: Insurers spared IPT hike as industry welcomes Hunt’s SII reforms

UK chancellor Jeremy Hunt has spared insurers a feared rise in insurance premium tax (IPT) within his Autumn Statement, with insurers also welcoming progress on Solvency II reforms.
