Swiss Re reports strong H1 earnings beat as P&C Re posts CR of 94.4%

Reinsurance giant Swiss Re has comfortably outperformed in the first half, delivering net income of $1.01bn – ~32 percent ahead of analyst consensus – with an uptick in its P&C and Corporate Solutions units offsetting losses in its life and health business.
