Fitch affirms Hiscox but warns on pandemic reinsurance recoveries

Fitch Ratings has affirmed Hiscox’s A+ insurer financial strength rating, citing the carrier’s capital strength and reserves, but warned of uncertainty over its ability to collect its mushrooming Covid-19 business interruption reinsurance recoveries.
