City regulator goes on hiring spree amid strike talks

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is expecting to bolster its ranks with 200 new joiners in the first quarter of the 2022 as the City watchdog faces the threat of industrial action after most of its unionised staff voted to strike against proposed changes to their pay.
