Hurricane Milton claims filing in Florida so far lagging Ian’s pace

The number of claims from Hurricane Milton reported by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) so far is lagging the pace of claims from Hurricane Ian in the same timespan, while the regulator has also pointed to developments that have strengthened the state’s insurance market.
