RLI in earnings beat as operating profit more than doubles to $60.4mn
RLI Corp reported third quarter operating earnings that jumped from $28.3mn to $64.1mn, including favourable development on prior years’ loss reserves that resulted in a net increase in underwriting profit of $18.1mn.
