B&W: Small trucking firms threatened by escalating insurance costs

The small trucking company sector is at risk of being consigned to history as firms increasingly find they can no longer afford the escalating cost of insurance resulting from underwriters increasing rates in response to soaring jury awards, Burns & Wilcox has warned.
