Aon-WTW: Is the DoJ shooting wide of the mark?

The move by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) to file an antitrust lawsuit against Aon and Willis Towers Watson aimed at blocking their proposed merger cannot be seen as anything but a negative for the firms. But are they right in their assertion that the US regulator doesn’t understand their business and the markets they operate in?
