Gallagher Re: 2023 wildfire season will be influenced by recent new vegetation growth

Following on from a below-average 2022 for wildfire insured losses, Gallagher Re has said this year’s peak wildfire season will be influenced by new vegetation growth resulting from heavy rainfall and near-record snowpack during the first quarter, particularly in California.
