Insurer CEOs warn on margin hit as states expand workers comp coverage

Insurer CEOs are digesting moves by a number of states to expand workers compensation coverage for essential workers in the Covid-19 crisis that could leave the industry exposed to a huge claims bill estimated at up to $33.6bn for California alone in a worst case scenario.
