Life insurers outperformed P&C in 2021 but the reverse can occur in 2022

Despite the potentially strong earnings potential of P&C (re)insurers in 2022, the life insurance and banking sectors have outperformed recently largely because of the expectation of sustained interest rate hikes, analysis by The Insurer shows.
