Benchimol: Axis Re benefited at 1.1 from telegraphing appetite early

Axis Capital CEO Albert Benchimol said that Axis Re benefited at the January renewal from telegraphing its appetite early, and that recent strong growth at the reinsurance arm has proven that any collateral business lost from exiting property reinsurance will be minimal.
