Gallagher Re’s Bowen: $140bn cat loss year shows “extremes are getting more extreme”

Insured natural catastrophe losses of $140bn in 2022 further highlight the need to educate and better communicate the risks posed by natural hazards, according to Gallagher Re chief science officer Steve Bowen.
