Agent-opposed provision to be removed from NY’s new insurance disclosure law

Agents have successfully lobbied to have a controversial provision relating to applications removed from New York’s new Comprehensive Insurance Disclosure Act, which was signed into law by state governor Kathy Hochul on New Year’s Eve.
