Allianz CR improves to 97.4% despite €300mn liability strengthening at AGCS

Europe’s second largest P&C insurance group Allianz generated a 2.2 percentage point improvement in its fourth-quarter combined ratio despite €300mn ($363mn) of liability reserve strengthening at its Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty unit.
