AM Best puts Rockingham’s ratings on negative review as Q2 surplus decline bites

Rockingham Insurance Company and its pooled affiliates have had their AM Best financial strength rating of A placed under review with negative implications after the US regional carrier reported a 14 percent decline in the group’s surplus in its Q2 results which included adverse development on some specialty programs.
