Aon: Japan cat market hits turning point as US mid-year renewals get positive start

The easing of conditions in the property cat reinsurance market seen at 1.1 continued at 1 April for Japanese and US cedants, with the positive trajectory for buyers set to remain in place at mid-year as increased demand of as much as $7bn is met by rebounding supply, according to Aon.
