Buffett names Abel likely successor at Berkshire Hathaway

Warren Buffett has brought to an end more than a decade of speculation about who will take the reins at Berkshire Hathaway by saying that the current head of the group’s non-insurance operations Greg Abel would step in if he were no longer in charge.
