CinFin shares drop 5% after $51mn commercial casualty reserve strengthening

Investors sent Cincinnati Finanical’s share price down 4.5 percent on Wednesday despite a comfortable Q4 earnings beat, amid concerns over commercial casualty reserve strengthening, while management also revealed the insurer added $100mn at the top of its property cat reinsurance cover at 1.1.
