D&O insurers to cover “substantial majority” of Cognizant’s $95mn settlement

Cognizant Technology Solutions has reached a $95mn settlement of a proposed class action alleging shareholders were defrauded by the concealment of bribes to officials in India, with the information technology company expecting its insurers to cover a substantial majority of the payment.
