FSCS to compensate Alpha policyholders as replacement cover deal collapses

The UK’s Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is to compensate some 14,000 Alpha Insurance latent defect insurance policyholders after a deal to secure replacement cover collapsed.
