GC brings in Swiss Re’s Cordonnier as global cyber co-head
Guy Carpenter has appointed Anthony Cordonnier as managing director and global co-head of cyber, with Erica Davis promoted to the same role, as the intermediary makes a number of hires to its cyber business.
Cordonnier was most recently director and head of the Swiss Re’s reinsurance cyber centre. At the reinsurer he was responsible for building its portfolio and overseeing its global underwriting activities.
He took on his current role in April 2017, according to his LinkedIn profile. Cordonnier has held a series of increasingly senior roles at Swiss Re since joining the carrier’s graduate training programme in 2008.
He currently serves as the chair of the International Underwriting Association’s Cyber Reinsurance Committee.

Guy Carpenter said the duo will co-lead its cyber team to utilise more effectively its global footprint, advanced analytical capabilities and expansive sector knowledge, offering clients and prospects more efficient and effective placement strategies.
