Global Indemnity accuses activist HDF of “misstatements” and “misleading characterisations”

Global Indemnity Group has responded to last week’s letter from Harbert Discovery Fund (HDF) and claimed that the activist investor’s missive contains what it said are “material factual misstatements” and “significant misleading characterisations”.
