Lessor Greylag sues insurers in New York over aircraft grounded in Indonesia

Aircraft lessor Greylag Goose Leasing has sued a number of international insurers and Lloyd’s syndicates – including arms of Chubb, Mapfre, Beazley and Fidelis – for almost $230mn in a New York court over the loss of two aircraft it claims have been “dismantled and cannibalised” while grounded in Jakarta, Indonesia.
