Mapfre chairman warns energy transition may slow ahead of adoption of new ESG policies

Mapfre chairman and CEO Antonio Huertas has warned the European Green Deal roadmap will need to be redesigned following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the company prepares to adopt strengthened fossil fuel underwriting restrictions at its annual general meeting this week.
