Mercury General records comfortable Q3 earnings beat despite operating profit drop

Mercury General ended Q3 2022 with an operating profit that fell 56.2 percent to $15.6mn and a combined ratio that increased 3.8 points to 102.8 percent, in results that were way ahead of analysts’ consensus.
