RenRe share price climbs 7% on strong earnings beat

Shares in RenaissanceRe traded up by around 7 percent in New York this morning after the Bermudian reinsurer delivered a strong Q4 earnings beat and said it had retained its combined portfolio with Validus at 1.1 at favourable terms.
