Report: US federal court insurance case filings hit new high in 2021

A new report from Lex Machina reveals that the 14,793 insurance case filings in US federal district courts in 2021 was 20 percent higher than in 2020, with last year including a large spike in hurricane-related claims but a fall in business interruption (BI) cases.
