S&P Global: Baltimore bridge collapse could be “earnings” event with claims over $3bn

S&P Global Ratings said insurance claims from last week’s Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore could top $3bn, but predicts it will only impact insurers’ earnings - rather than their capital - while analysts at TD Cowen said it could be the biggest marine loss ever.
