Swift: Hartford’s Russia-Ukraine exposure “heavily reinsured”

The Hartford chairman and CEO Christopher Swift has described his company’s direct exposure to the Russia-Ukraine war as “very modest”, adding that it is “heavily reinsured”, with the comments following the insurer reporting $27mn of net losses related to the conflict in Q1.
