Truist organic growth up sequentially to 7.7% in Q2 as Ebitda margin slips 200bps

Truist Financial’s insurance division grew organic revenue by 7.7 percent in the second quarter, down from 14.8 percent in a prior-year period that grew strongly from the Covid-19-impacted Q2 2020, but sequentially up from 7.2 percent in Q1 2022, while the unit’s adjusted Ebitda margin shrank by 200 basis points to 32.3 percent.
