UK insurer quartet withdraws 2020 dividend and share buybacks after PRA pressure

London-listed insurers Aviva, Direct Line, Hiscox and RSA will not go ahead with their planned dividend payments this year, nor conduct any share buybacks, after pressure from the UK’s Prudential Regulation Authority and Europe’s Eiopa last week.
