United Fire’s share price jumps after CR improves 40 pts in Q4

United Fire has reported a combined ratio of 83.1 percent for the fourth quarter of 2021, which was down from 123.1 percent in the prior-year period as a result of lower catastrophe losses and favourable reserve development.
