Velocity working on $100mn+ rated carrier as it approaches hard E&S property market

Velocity Risk Underwriters is creating its own AM Best-rated carrier balance sheet backed by majority owner Oaktree Capital Management in a move that will allow the MGA to show alignment of interest with capacity providers as it grows into the hard property market, E&S Insurer can reveal.
