Willis Re: Rate deceleration and higher inflation concerns for (re)insurers despite strong H1

Analysis by Willis Re has shown that global (re)insurers recorded strong premium growth and improved underwriting profitability in the first half of this year, but the broker highlighted the decelerating ratings environment and the prospect of higher inflation as two concerns on the outlook.
